The enable position of the Hotel K2 allows our guests to live and visit all the beauties that characterize this border area of the Apennines.
From the windows of the Hotel the view ranges from Cima del Cimone, Passo dell'Abetone to Cima del Monte Gomito.

In summer time, for nature lovers, the area offers the possibility of trekking trails on countless tracks from CAI and the GEA. The closest, from n.517 to 519, will lead you to the beautiful Lago Santo, Lago Turchino, Lago Baccio and Monte Rondinaio.

Some paths that wind between woods and green pastures are ideal for a nice horse trip. These areas are equipped with beautiful riding horses and expert guides. In recent years, following the fashion of the Mountain bike Downhill, beautiful paths were traced following the winter ski slopes. The routes are served by a modern cable car that allows you to bring to the top athletes and bicycles.

In winter the 50Km ski slopes of Abetone Multipass are available for skiers of all levels. The slopes are served by modern lifts, a 4 places chairlift with automatic coupling, which is about 300m from the property. There are also numerous snow-park facilities for everyone’s fancy. In Val di Luce, at about 2 km from the hotel the guests will find a beautiful school-camp served by a 4 places chairlift which waits for all those who are starting to ski.

For a relaxing walk and a little shopping you can go upstream to Passo di Abetone, Valle Fimalbo (a Middle Age city) and Pieve Pelago a charming town with all Emilian welcoming.
